Commenting on the purchase, Burford managing director Paul Gingell said: "We will be selecting unique products specifically under the Hen and Hammock banner. The focus will be on sustainably sourced, environmentally friendly products, with a very honest, artisan feel.
He added: "Whilst still stylish, the offering will look and feel different to the more ‘modern rustic’ and luxury feel to the Burford offering. In a sense it will be about simple pleasures and a return to basics, the ‘Good Life’, practical, sensible products with provenance. There will be lots of lovely hammocks and deckchairs, handcrafted besom brooms and recycled watering cans, coffee sacks and bee ceps to name a few."
