Caesar will take the role of director at its Bordon Hill Nursery in Stratford upon Avon.

He said: "It has been a privilege to lead the team at Bransford Webbs, I feel great pride at the strong position the business now has within the industry and the decision to move on has been an extremely difficult one."

Adrian Marskell will become managing director whilst continuing to lead the sales team. Christine Chalmers and Richard Colbourne will continue as production director and finance director with increased responsibilities. In particular Chalmers will take a lead in continuing to attract new plants into the business.

Thanking Caesar for his contribution to the business, chairman Will Tooby said: "The senior team have over 50 years of experience at Bransford Webbs and whilst we are sorry to see Geoff move on, I know the team are excited by this new challenge and have the skills and abilities to continue the development of the business."
