Booklet gives advice on planting

Planting advice for landscapers now available.

A booklet to help landscapers choose plant schemes in towns and villages has been published by Plant Publicity Holland (PPH). Named Plantings for Town and Village Centres, the booklet aims to show landscape architects, planners, managers and contractors how to create successful planting schemes in urban centres and community parks. A representative for PPH, which promotes Dutch hardy nursery stock, said: “This provides essential information on choosing the right plant for the right place and will help to make your schemes really work.” The book covers three main topics. The first is planted containers, the second is planted sections of village and town squares, and the third is community parks. * To get your free copy of the booklet send six first-class stamps (for postage, packaging and hand-ling) to PPH UK Bureau, c/o Optima, PO Box 252, Carlisle, CA6 6YA.
