The winners were Sustain Landscapes, which won for its work at Harton Quays Park, South Shields and Elmtree Garden Contractors, which won two awards: one for Bristol Harbourside, Building 4 and Millennium Promenade, Bristol, and a second for its landscaping at Bath Western Riverside Podium.

Boningale also supplied two winners in the Grounds Maintenance - Free Public Access categoryContinental Landscapes for its landscaping at Wychavon Parks, Wychavon, and The Landscape Group, which was recognised for its work at Eastbourne Seafront Promenade and Carpet Gardens.

Boningale sales director Frank Sandford said: "We are very proud indeed to be associated with all of these winning landscaping projects, which demonstrate the very highest standards in the industry.

"The BALIs are the Oscars of the landscaping profession so to have played a role in five winning projects this year is testament to the quality of stock we supply and the calibre of clients we work with."

He added: "Congratulations to all the award-winning Contractors, and we thank them for placing their business with Boningale."

All the winners will be presented with their awards at the BALI National Awards in association with Horticulture Week, at the Grosvenor House, London on 5 December.
