Billy Goat FM3300IN

If you are looking for high productivity and a quality cut from a pedestrian mower, this could be the one for you.

It’s as wide as one and a half 21" mowers and it covers the ground quickly. Yet it is surprisingly manoeuvrable and offers a rare degree of agility for a mower of this size. FM stands for finishing mower. This one gives a first-class cut.
“It does a fantastic job, covers a lot of ground very quickly and is an ideal size for places that are inaccessible to tractors,” says our tester.
The FM3300 is triple-bladed — the three 30cm blades are arranged to maintain a short wheelbase for easy handling. The five-speed transaxle with reverse gear allows ground speed to be matched to cutting conditions. A well-designed control panel makes the machine simple to operate and the 13hp petrol engine provides ample power for cutting thick, long grass.
“There is a good selection of gears and the reverse is handy when you need to mow close to walls or hedges,” says the tester. We test the side discharge version but mulching and grass catcher kits are also available.
With its seven-gauge-steel deck welded to a 12-gauge-steel skirt, this mower should be capable of taking a few knocks. The sealed spindle bearings mean smooth operation and maintenance-free performance.
