Billy Goat buys Plugr machinery range

Billy Goat Industries has acquired Plugr, allowing the company to add four products to its range.

The range of grounds clearance machinery consists of brushcutters, overseeders and scarifiers. The range also includes wheeled vacuums and force blowers with air velocities of up to 200mph.

The 46cm PL1800 aerator has four tines and weighs 109kg. It is available with either a 205cc Briggs & Stratton engine, or an 118cc Honda engine.

Alternatively, there are two choices available for the PL2500 aerator, which has a 64cm working width and weighs 129kg. The PL2500 is available with either a 163cc Honda engine, or a 196cc Honda/Hydro Drive. Prices of the new Plugr aerators start from £1999.99 including VAT.

Billy Goat products are exclusively available in the UK through Henton & Chattell dealers nationwide, having secured the partnership in 2013.

Henton & Chattell managing director Peter Chaloner said: "It’s great to see more products being added to the Billy Goat range. The power behind these products is amazing, no job is too big. That’s certainly true of the blowers, so it’s brilliant to be able to add Plugr products to these."
