A creditors' meeting at THS Financial Recovery heard the company had £2.7m debts, with Florensis owed £437,000 amongst what was described by one creditor as a "who's who" of the ornamental supply industry.
Turnover for the year to 31 December 2015 was £7.974m, up from £7.649m in the previous year, with an operating loss of £71,000, down from a £129,000 profit.
In the accounts for 2015, directors said that 79 per cent of turnover is with one customer, up from 63 per cent, giving an "added risk of concentration of the customer base".
Supplying Homebase with value-added bedding product was a big part of Ornamental Plants' business.

Florna Plants incorporated on 26 November 2016 and now operates from the same site.
