BBC Gardeners' World Live award for TV contestant Paul Harris

BBC Gardeners' World Live has awarded Paul Harris, finalist in BBC2s Great Chelsea Garden Challenge, a gold medal for his 'First Home' garden in the new Lifestyle Garden category, while Neil Sutcliffe also gained a gold for his 'Sociability' Lifestyle Garden.

Show Gardens and Beautiful Borders received seven gold medals plus three silver gilt, five silver and three bronze medals, in the last year the RHS is backing the event.

In the Metamorphosis Garden category Bridget Robinson and Sid Stratton achieved a gold medal for their garden ‘Slow Burn’, as well as Lucinda Parish for her ‘Flow Garden’. Best Beautiful Border was Kareena Gardiner.

In addition to the judged show gardens, this year sees feature gardens including from Adam Frost/Jody Lidgard and one from the Association of Professional Landscapers, Love The Plot You’ve Got, Live.

In the floral marquee, among 38 golds were best exhibit went to W.S. Warmenhoven.
