Additions to the Barenbrug range include BAR Trio, BAR Medal and RTF Turf, while four new culitvars have also been developed – Barsignum perennial ryegrass, Barcesar tall fescue, Barrocky perennial ryegrass and creeping red fescue Barprince.
- BAR Trio has been developed through extensive trials across the UK and Ireland, and is a 100 per cent fescue blend offering high salt tolerance, shoot density and diseases tolerance as required by links courses.
- BAR Medal is a combination of the hard-wearing Bargold cultivar with Viktorka. Designed for fine turf applications, the mixture boasts good wear tolerance and a greater degree of recovery.
- RTF Turf has been developed for turf growers, and contains deep-rooting Rhizomatous tall fescue and the new tufted tall fescue Barcesar.
