Since joining BALI in 2011 Grills has been instrumental in achieving the systems and processes at Landscape House set out in the board’s strategic plan.

His appointment as CEO recognises his achievements and acknowledges the increased responsibility that comes with the growth in membership and influence of the association over the past four years.

BALI national chairman Bob Field said: "The BALI Board is extremely satisfied with the direction of the association. We now have an excellent staff team in place at Landscape House, a greatly improved choice of member benefits, and influence at government level alongside our industry partners.

"People are voting with their feet and BALI has experienced a marked increase in membership numbers. Wayne has done an excellent job since joining the association and we feel the title of chief xecutive better represents the role and responsibilities he undertakes."
