He qualified as an incorporated engineer in 1976 and has been a member of the Institution of Agricultual engineers until very recently. He worked at the Ministry of Ag, Fish & Food from 1973 – 1984 with a break of two years in the middle when he worked for G.R. Beeby & Son. From 1985 – 1992 he worked from AgPower at contracts manager of Sports Field Design & Construction with a break of two years in the middle where he worked for Brian Bayley in the same role.In 1993 he started with Aquaplast Irrigation. Some of his clients have been: New Farm Produce, Busby Partners, Lower Reule Farm, The Eden Project, Robinson’s Nursery, Chicory Crops, Bransford Webbs, Allensmore Nurseries, Gentech, Blackmoor Estate, H & H Dunclalfe, Osberton Nurseries and Green Mile Trees.
