However, our testers find this model is heavy. Further to that, there is a problem with the balance — the front handle is too close. And the swivelling of the handling doesn’t prove popular either.
But this is a multi-purpose tool. We are talking versatility — and that throws a different light on it. As power unit with four attachments it could definitely be an investment for anyone setting up business in garden maintenance.
So how much does it cost? The power unit is £285. The hedgetrimmer attachment is another £199. We reckon you would want to invest in at least three attachments — probably the hedgetrimmer plus brushcutter (£85) and the 25cm straight-bar pruner (£161).
