RHS launches Susan Pearson Bursary
Friday, 05 February 2010
The RHS has launched the Susan Pearson Bursary. The award will provide sponsorship of up to £10,000 for a trainee horticulturist to undertake a year's practical work experience at a public garden.
The bursary has been endowed by Dr Henry Pearson in memory of his late wife, Susan, and will give individuals the opportunity to gain practical skills in plantsmanship and all aspects of garden and estate management while working at an established garden. Applications can be made either by the individual or the garden offering the work experience place.
A full list of RHS bursaries can be viewed online at www.rhs.org.uk/courses/bursaries. Application forms can also be obtained by calling 01483 212380 or emailing bursaries@rhs.org.uk.
