Leicester offers 5-year arb contract

Leicestershire County Council is looking for a forestry and arboricultural maintenance firm to look after trees on its council properties.
The five-year deal will be worth £750,000 and works will include tree pruning, tree felling, tree planting, maintenance of young trees, stump grinding, chipping and disposal of timber at school sites, parks and other municipal spaces.
The contractor will not normally be expected to work on Highway sites.
The contract will be for five years initially, with an option to extend by up to two years.
The deadline for receipt of expressions of interest is 9 February.
