Inchbald offers online scholarship
Friday, 20 November 2009
Inchbald School of Design is celebrating its 50th anniversary by offering a £5,000 scholarship to its new online course.
The online diploma in principles and practices of garden design starts in April 2010. It is for people interested in pursuing a career in garden design or developing their passion to a professional level.
The online course requires a minimum of eight hours formal study per week. The course is split up into six modules with sessions leading to the completion of a project and providing developmental activities and instruction materials. Feedback from tutors is provided via email and online forums.
Entrants will be required to produce a sample design assignment with a 1,000-word explanation.
Full details of the scholarship will be available in the December issue of Gardens Illustrated magazine and at www.inchbald.co.uk. The scholarship will be open for entries until 31 January 2010.
