Some 34 UK exhibitors announced for spoga+gafa

New products are being launched to world markets for the first time by most of the 34 UK garden and leisure product suppliers that are exhibiting in the British exhibitor group at spoga+gafa in Cologne in 2015.


Two-thirds of the British exhibitors have been awarded £1,500 UKTI government cash grants towards stand space and fitting costs under an arrangement secured by Gardenex. 

Within the main British exhibitor pavilion is a UK garden industry information stand, manned by the Gardenex federation’s team of multi-lingual staff.

A new feature this year is a British Innovation and Business Zone that will display new, innovative and first time products or services.  The Zone will be situated adjacent to the Gardenex stand and UK garden industry information stand.

The British exhibitors are:

ALM Manufacturing exhibiting its parts for garden power machinery, including trimmer spools and line and plastic blades.

Bambrella is showing its strong parasols that are made from laminated bamboo. 

BarbeSkew is displaying its charcoal and gas rotisserie barbecues. 

Bosmere Products is showcasing its ranges of garden covers, featuring new colours, new packaging and new technically advanced materials.  There will be a new Thunder Grey colour added to the Storm Black by Bosmere range of urban chic covers.

Briers is showing its collection of rubber clogs and boots, gloves, umbrellas and garden product collections.

Britain:home of gardening -  Innovation & Business Zone  is a new feature at spoga+gafa that is displaying new, innovative and first time products or services from British companies.  The Zone is supported by UK Trade & Investment, and located adjacent to the Gardenex industry information stand. 

Catwatch by Concept Research is exhibiting its ranges of UK manufactured animal deterrents.  

Crest Garden is a range of garden tools manufactured by Kent & Stowe.

G Plants is a UK manufacturer of retail packages of seeds, flower bulbs and garden products both under the company’s brand name of G Plants and own label for supply to local, regional and national multiple retailers.

Gardenex is The Federation of Garden & Leisure Manufacturers Ltd, the export trade association that brings together UK suppliers and international buyers.

Gardenskill is a company in the plant protection and support sector, supplying a range of pop-up fruit and vegetable cages, poly houses and tunnels.

Garland Products/Worth Gardening is launching 70 new products, including a compact tidy tray, a colander trug, a one-top electric propagator and a micro grow light garden.

Greenman Garden Tools is introducing its new Ergonomic range of garden tools that takes design cues from traditional British farm tools.

Grumpy Gardener by GreanBase is exhibiting at spoga+gafa for the first time and is showing its Grumpy Gardener Range, which is a group of British-designed garden products. 

Harrod Horticultural is showing its UK designed and manufactured garden product collection, featuring sophisticated garden structures such as arches, obelisks and plant supports, as well as functional and stylish crop cages and grow-your-own innovations. 

Haws Watering Cans is showing its metal and plastic indoor and outdoor watering cans.

Hozelock is introducing new product systems that will help revolutionise the future of automatic watering.

Irrigatia – Solar Automatic Watering is showing its weather responsive solar automatic watering systems.  

Laura Ashley/Treadstone Products is displaying the two most popular patterns of Laura Ashley garden and outdoor ranges which have been updated with new styles and new products. 

London Ornaments is showing its wide range of vintage style home, gift and garden ware.

Mac’s BBQ produces a range of barbecues, food smokers and accessories for the outdoor leisure industry. 

Oakthrift Corporation is exhibiting at spoga+gafa for the first time and is showing bird feeders, growing systems and plant ties. 

Plantworks is a producer and distributor of mycorrhizal and biological plant growth products. 

Popadome is a first time exhibitor at spoga+gafa showing its new garden netting product based on a dome tent design.

Porous Pipe is exhibiting its premium soaker hose in 16mm, 20mm and 5mm diameters for easy watering of gardens, borders, landscaped areas, municipal grounds, parks, hotel grounds and many more applications.

Smart Garden Products is known for its decorative garden lighting, and this year is showing its new range of ‘Outside In’ clocks and lanterns for the first time at spoga+gafa.

Straight produces water butts and composters that utilise recycled materials.

Strata Products is a manufacturer of decorative plastic planters and garden sundry items. 

STV International is showing its pest control products for home and garden use. 

Tildenet Gardenware/Haxnicks is exhibiting its garden care, plant protection and propagation products.

Town & Country is a UK supplier of gardening gloves, footwear and sundries, and will unveil a raft of new products. 

Trimetals manufactures a range of metal garden storage buildings, and is launching a new version of its bicycle storage unit.  

Tubtrugs is exhibiting its ranges of brooms, containers and tools for many applications in the home, garden, construction and agricultural areas.

VegTrug is showing its raised bed planters along with three new product collections. 

What More UK is exhibiting plastic houseware, plastic storage and plastic garden products.  

Yardmaster International is showing its range of DIY metal garden buildings that are flat packed for home delivery.
